Short Paragraph on Shattered Glass & Journalism Media/Studies

The movie Shattered Glass was really good and it was sad at the end that Stephen had to get fired for the flase articles that he had to write. I felt that Lane was a little too mean with Stephen and should have gave him another chance to get things right with what he has done. But at the same time, he should have never wrote those false stories that was never real but fiction. But I believe that Stephen was just trying to have New Republic be more interesting and have citizens read their articles and not have it be so boring because that is why people were interested in the articles in the first place, even though it was false.

The class as a whole was fun, I learned a lot of how a Journalism person is and what they have to do in a real life career and I beleive Shattered Glass has helped me see in a reality point of view from a person that has been through it. The class was okay, but at the same time I loved the projects that we had done and I really liked the advertisement because everyone's personality had came out of it. The people here in the clas (well most of them) was real cool towards me and I had a great time. And I am excited to tkae Broadcast Journalism next year :)

Gay Marriage Should Stay ILLEGAL

The meaning of marriage is a union between man and women, and not same sex marriage. That is why the government has come with a “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy that will not have a person that is straight, discriminate or harass gay, lesbian, or bisexual citizens. The issue of gay marriage has become a problem ever since it has been introduced into the United States.
There are many other situations that we have to deal with as a country. Such as oil prices being so high, Pakistan wanting a revenge on the US for killing Osama Bin Laden, trying to stop the fake “2012” End of the World , high taxes, being in debt, and many other issues. Gay marriage should not be the number one problem is America when there are way more important things we have to deal with.
Republican Senator Warren Limmer's bill that aims to constitutionally define marriage as a heterosexual union is still in debate to see if it should be approved or not. If it gets approved, according to On Top Magazine, we voters would have to tell them our own definition of marriage. Minnesota law already bans gay and lesbian couples from marrying, but supporters say the law remains vulnerable to legal challenges without the amendment.
I have some associates and even an auntie this is a bisexual or gay. I do not judge them because of their sexuality, but at the same time I do not go for their sexual views. It’s not what God loves and it does not say that in the bible. We citizens needs to start having common sense on things like this and needs to know what is right for the country.
I believe that if we have the bill passed or have gay marriage happen in Minnesota, then we will become the next San Francisco. Having earthquakes all around the world and have the worst reputation in the world because of us accepting that kind of situation to exist in the state of Minnesota.
Minnesota has dealt with the issue of marriage between same-sex partners several times over the years. In fact, the Minnesota Supreme Court was one of the first in the nation to rule on the issue of marriage between same-sex couples. If that’s the case then we should not have same-sex marriage to keep continuing in the country of the United States or even in the state of Minnesota.
It’s an issue that we’re facing with to this day, but it should be an easy answer or whether or not we should have same-sex marriage allowed in Minnesota. And the answer should be NO.
